  • US Shows Now on iTunes Canada?

I was looking on the main page today and I saw that US shows were showing up on the Canadian store and now the TV page has FOX, ABC, etc. all available with shows such as 24 and Gossip Girl available to download in HD.

  • “Spaceship” Music Video — Kanye West

From the album, “College Dropout” released in 2004. The music video was made in early 2005/late 2005, however was not released because by that time they began focusing on Kanye’s next album “Late Registration”. Courtesy of GLC, who has his debut album, Love, Life & Loyalty coming this year.

  • I LOVE Music

Looking at my iTunes library this weekend, I realized how much songs I have and still love, but also that there are a lot of connections that these songs bring back to my mind. Usually I can recall the time of year that I most prominently listened to the song and usually there is at least some significance to the songs.

So you may wonder where I’m trying to go with this. Well, I really haven’t written much on this site over the last couple months and really twitter has become a strong platform to share interesting tidbits that I used to use this site for. Therefore I thought, why not write down the significance of songs once in a while. I’ll try to aim for a couple times a week, but I think I can make this a permanent thing.

  • ‘808s and Heartbreak’: 6 Months Later

Short version: Concluded that this is my favourite “album as a whole” to date.

I usually make a decision on whether I like an album or not within a week, and this album was no different in that it was clear that I liked the album. However, even before this album came out and I listened to Love Lockdown, followed by Heartless, Amazing, Paranoid, Welcome to Heartbreak and Robocop, I loved it.

I’m going to keep this short.

After 6 months, after the hype and it has all settled, I believe I can safely say that this has not only been my favourite Kanye West album to date, but my favourite album as a whole to date.
